TEAM SPONG
KRAKTI FAMIRI
Have you ever taken a close look at the name SurinamStars? It sounds modern, ambitious, and international. But behind that name lies a remarkable story of intuition, history, and a healthy dose of determination.
When founder Simone Spong first came up with the name SurinamStars, people often tried to correct her. "Shouldn't it be SurinameStars, with an 'e'?" or "Doesn't that sound much better?". But Simone stood her ground. To her, Surinam without the 'e' simply sounded much more international. She followed her instincts, and it turned out to be a massive success!
