Patrick Kluivert
A football icon with Surinamese roots. At the age of
eighteen, he scored the winning goal in the 1995
Champions League final. He played for major clubs
including Ajax, AC Milan and FC Barcelona, and earned
79 caps for the Netherlands.
Quincy Kluivert
The eldest son trained as a footballer but ultimately
chose his own creative path. As a DJ, he demonstrates
that the strength and talent of the Kluivert family
extend far beyond the football pitch.
Justin Kluivert
An international professional footballer and Netherlands
international. After progressing through Ajax’s renowned youth academy, he continued his career in several of Europe’s leading competitions, including the Premier League.
Ruben Kluivert
A professional footballer who is forging his own path as a central defender. Through his steady development and international experience, he carries the Kluivert name forward in a different position.
Shane Kluivert
The youngest footballing talent in the family. He is developing within FC Barcelona’s youth academy, where he signed his first professional contract, and has represented the Netherlands at youth level.

How is it possible that Patrick and all four of his sons have such a strong command of the game? It is most likely the result of a remarkable combination of natural ability, a sporting upbringing and years of training at a high level. The sons grew up with football as a central part of everyday life and witnessed first-hand the discipline, confidence and perseverance required to succeed.
Their grandfather, Kenneth Kluivert, was also a footballer, meaning that the family’s footballing talent now spans three generations. Yet each son has developed his own qualities and chosen his own path. Quincy eventually pursued a different direction, while Justin, Ruben and Shane continued their journey in professional football.
Talent may be passed down, but success only emerges when natural ability is combined with opportunity, guidance, hard work and a strong family culture. This makes the Kluivert family a powerful example of powerful family 'Krakti Famiri': strength passed down from one generation to the next.
